From April to November, stay on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground. Make your reservations for the 2025 season online or call us at 276-730-7154. Winter Operations – Propane, Store and RV Boondocking

Our propane fill station and Lil’ Camp Store are open during our winter hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. Call 276-730-7154 if you’d like to drop by at another time or for more information.

RVs with their own water can stay for $26.33 per night, which includes tax. We only have electric and sewer available during the winter. You must call ahead to reserve a spot. Availability depends on whether or not the Blue Ridge Parkway is open and the owners are on site. More information is on our winter camping page.

Directions 

We’re located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, 3.5 miles south of Fancy Gap, VA between mileposts 202 and 203. We’re also 5 miles from I-77, exit 8.

Our section of the Blue Ridge Parkway is open. To reach us, take Exit 8 off Interstate 77 in Virginia. Do not take Exit 1. Once you have exited 77, follow the signs to Fancy Gap and Hwy 52. At the stop sign with a flashing light, turn right to go south on 52. Follow 52 a half mile and turn right just past the Amoco Station and Lakeview Restaurant at the brown sign reading Parkway. At the next stop sign, turn right to go south on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Travel 3.5 miles south, and you will see Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground on your left. We are between mileposts 202 and 203. Turn left where you see the sign for the Ranger’s Office, and drive straight into the campground. Do not turn right onto Bavarian Way. Please stop at the office to check in.

You can also reach the campground by taking Hwy 52 N out of Winston-Salem. You will catch the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap. Again, go south and travel about 3.5 miles to the campground and motel.
