Winter Camping

During the winter, we continue to sell propane and offer fully contained RVs sewer and electric for $25 a night. You must bring your own water because our well is winterized. Our camping cabins and tent sites will open for winter camping March 13. You will need to bring water and be comfortable with using a port-a-jon. Please call 276-730-7154 to reserve your stay. Directions

Follow our highway signs to take Exit 8 off Interstate 77 in Virginia. Do not take Exit 1. Once you’ve exited 77, follow the signs to Fancy Gap and Hwy 52. At the stop sign with a flashing light, turn right to go south on Hwy 52. Follow 52 a half mile. Just past the Amoco Station and Lakeview Restaurant, you’ll see the directional sign indicating to take the next right. Go to the stop sign, and turn right to go south on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Travel 3.5 miles south, and you’ll see Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground on your left. We are between mileposts 202 and 203. Turn left where you see the sign for the Ranger’s Office, and drive straight into the campground. Do not turn right onto Bavarian Way. Please stop at the office to check in. You can also reach the campground by taking Hwy 52 N out of Winston-Salem and catching the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap. Again, go south and travel about 3.5 miles to the campground.
