Whether you pitch your tent, park your RV, cozy up in a cabin or relax at our motel, stay and play on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground from April through November.

During the regular camping season, same day reservations can be made online until 5 pm. Between 5 and 9 pm, call 276-730-7154. Same day reservations are not available after 9 pm by phone or online. Check in begins at 2 pm, and check out is by 11 am.

From November to March, our tent sites are closed. We offer limited winter camping in March before opening for the 2026 season in April. Please read our winter camping page for more information and call 276-730-7154 for a reservation.

About Our Tent Sites

Our three large tent sites include Wi-Fi, water, electric, picnic tables and fire rings or charcoal grills. They are close to the bath house that has five, private bathrooms, hot showers and utility sinks. Rate is based on a maximum of four people per site. Each additional person up to a maximum of 6 is $5 per person, per day. There is no pet fee for tent camping.

Tent 14 is our only drive-in site. Sites 15/16 and 17/18 front our tent road. Guests park on the tent road and in a few steps are in their site.

Guests with pop-ups, conversion vans, truck campers, enclosed trailers or similar vehicles need to register for an RV site.

Please note that rates on Memorial Day weekend, July 4th and Labor Day weekend are higher and have minimum night stays. Get the details and answers to more questions on our FAQ page.

Tent 14 is the only site with its own drive. The site is 40 X 20 ft, shaded and works with tents and hammocks. This site has a charcoal grill and fire ring.

Tent 15/16 is a double site that suits tents and hammocks. It is partially shaded with a charcoal grill and fire ring.

Tent 17/18 is a at the end of tent road with a fire ring that includes a grill plate. The double site gives tent campers room to set up a spacious and comfortable camp.
