There is history too. Sites like Mabry Mill take visitors back in time to life in the 1800s. The gift shop, restaurant and ice cream make the mill not only the most photographed but one of the most popular stops along the entirety of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Another poplular stop is the Blue Ridge Music Center. Visitors enjoy charting the growth of Blue Grass Music in the region and clapping along to afternoon concerts by local Blue Grass musicians. In the summer, get your tickets for the Center’s concert series held under the stars in their amphitheater.
