Campground Orchards

If you’d like to pick your own fresh fruit, the campground has a peach and an apple orchard. Registered guests can pick as much as they want. Peaches are in season late in August and apples in the fall. Please keep in mind that we do not spray or treat our fruit trees. They are as organic as you can get.

Local Orchards

There are a number of commercial orchards in the area as well. Dawson’s Orchard is the closest to the campground. Check their Facebook page to learn when peach, apples and other fruits are in season. Other orchards in the area include Levering, Ayers and Miss Angel’s. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are offering self-pick and to schedule a day and time.
