Southwest Farmers Market

Independence, Virginia Farmers Market
Fridays from May to October from 9 am to 1 pm in the Independence Town Park at the junction of US 21 and US 58 is another local market. Featured items include meats, vegetables, herbs, plant starts, preserves and crafts. When you visit you may also find live music and raffles.
Mount Airy Farmers Market
Running to October 28 at 111 South Main Street from 9 am to 1 pm, the Mount Airy Farmers Market is one of three markets in Surry County. Sister markets are in Dobson and Elkin, NC. The markets provide fruit and produce from local farmers. Shoppers can also find honey, fresh cut flowers, plants, meats and crafts all while enjoying live music.
