Go north on the BRP and in about an hour, you’ll find the town of Floyd. Floyd is well-known for its annual FloydFest, a festival celebrating music and art that’s held each July. The festival is so good it warranted a write up in Rolling Stone magazine in 2019.

No matter when you visit, you’ll find that music and art are at the heart of Floyd. Wandering through the downtown, browse through boutiques and shops full of artwork, clothing, gifts and home decor. Local restaurants serve up delicious food along with the harmonies of local Blue Grass musicians. There are wineries and distilleries, farms, outdoor adventures and even a honeybee sanctuary.
